Windows Mobile makes a splash
Microsoft Windows Mobile wanted to show up big at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the annual event for the mobile communications industry. Based on the theme “My connected lifestyle,” we were tasked to develop an exhibit that would express how technology brings people together, merging your mobile life, home life, work life, etc. Leveraging the innovative work we recently completed for the Microsoft Visitor Center, we delivered a huge, interactive LED wall.
It works like this: drag-and-drop the words on the touch screen to create your personalized message, pose for a picture, then step around to the LED wall to see your photo and message come forward and interact with uploads from hundreds of other users. A custom built 3D environment displays the images as they move, coming together dynamically based on common interests drawn from keywords in the messages. At 1,200 users over the 3-day conference, this digital experience did a great job of engaging visitors and encouraging interaction with the brand.
